The Foundation Building Efforts of Daniel Chavez Moran

With the development of numerous hotels and vacation spots from resorts to golf courses to tourism facilities, what more can be done? One idea is to make something that is helpful to a lot of people. It was Daniel Chavez Moran who made an effort to see this through.

A man by the name of Daniel Jesus Chavez Moran decided to do something to help promote Latin culture to the world and this is why he formed a foundation called Grupo Vidanta. Social issues such as poverty and inequality can be seen in a lot of countries, not only in Mexico and Latin America, and these are some of the things that the foundation wants to find solutions to. The name of the foundation actually came from the name of Moran's own company who operates not only an airport in Mexico but several tourist destinations as well.

As the main tourist destination developer in Mexico, Grupo Vidanta owns and operates a number of resorts and works with 10,000 employees. Its philanthropic arm, the Grupo Vidanta Foundation was established in 2005. Before it was called the Grupo Vidanta Foundation, it was first labeled as Grupo Mayan.

In Latin America and similar parts of the world, social hardships reign and this is why the foundation operated by Roberto Russell and a number of young and devoted workers are trying to make an effort when it comes to educating the people in these areas. Everything from politics to economics are discussed by these workers when they visit Latin communities. What they are trying to do is clarify concerns such as inequality and suffering to these communities.

Grupo Vidanta also aims to promote studies that focus on the relationships of Latin American countries. The foundation wants the world to see how different Latin American nations, from Argentina to Mexico, can contribute to the resolution of these particular social conundrums that their people are facing on a daily basis. The kind of support that the rest of the world showed Haiti when it was struck by calamity is just the kind of effort that this particular foundation wants to put emphasis on.

Having Latin America join in with the rest of the world is something that the foundation is focused on. The potential contributions of Latin America to the world are truly beneficial from their language to their culture. Latin American countries and people are some of the friendliest, outgoing, religious, festive and fun-loving people in the world, and the rest of the globe can learn from that.

The Foundation hopes to influence the creation of policies that could strengthen democracy in the subcontinent. By making an effort in politics, they are moving one step closer to solving inequality in the region. The main focus of this foundation is actually the economic and social development of all Latin American regions.

The printing of books and scholarly research is one of the things that Grupo Vidanta is focusing on. They concentrate on titles that invoke democratic strength not to mention economic growth. One of the published books is entitled Falling Behind: Explaining the Development Gap between the United States and Latin America.

The foundation is not only trying to reach political figures as they are also trying to reach out to economists on a global scale. It is sustainable economic growth that is mainly discussed when it comes to the group's conferences and dialogues. The Foundation then recognizes and supports outstanding projects that effectively fight poverty and inequality.

In just six years, Grupo Vidanta Foundation has achieved much in the cause of social development. They will not stop fighting against inequality in Latin America. Its goals and objectives continue to reflect the ideals and hopes of its founder, Daniel Chavez Moran.
